DEREK DARNELL

President

Derek Darnell joined Pelican Builders in 2002 and over-sees all aspects of project management. His primary responsibilities include site selection, site planning, financing, marketing and investor relations. Derek comes from Hines, a privately owned international real estate firm, where he worked on acquisitions and commercial developments.

Prior to his career in real estate, he was a financial advisor in the corporate finance division of Arthur Andersen. He earned a finance degree from Baylor University.
